Raging Spirits, Steel roller coaster at Tokyo DisneySea, Japan
Raging Spirits is a steel roller coaster in the Lost River Delta section that performs one full inversion and accelerates to around 70 kilometers per hour. The track winds through a replica temple ruin and concludes with a curve along an artificial riverbank.
The coaster opened in 2005 as the first major addition to the park after its initial launch and represented a technical step forward in Japanese theme park design. It introduced the vertical loop element to the resort for the first time.
The ride entrance leads through stonework carved to resemble a temple unearthed by explorers in a jungle clearing. Carved masks and overgrown columns suggest a forgotten site dedicated to ancient rituals involving fire and water.
Children must meet a minimum height requirement, and the park reservation system helps reduce long waiting periods. Evening rides offer different lighting along the route that makes the experience easier to spot from nearby paths.
At night the ride offers a brief view of illuminated Fantasy Springs that cannot be seen from other spots in the park. This moment occurs only at the highest point of the track.
