Sindbad's Storybook Voyage, Dark ride at Tokyo DisneySea, Japan

Sindbad's Storybook Voyage is a boat ride in the Arabian Coast area of Tokyo DisneySea in Japan. Visitors glide through seven scenes showing different ports and landscapes, accompanied by automated figures portraying Sindbad and his tiger cub Chandu on their journey.

The ride opened with Tokyo DisneySea on September 4, 2001, as Sindbad's Seven Voyages. Its dark tone and lack of a song made it unpopular and frightened young guests. A lengthy refurbishment replaced the narrative with a lighter story, added the tiger cub Chandu and Alan Menken's song, and the attraction reopened on March 29, 2007 under its current name.

The ride's score is Alan Menken's song "Compass of Your Heart", sung by Kenji Sakamoto. The giant in one scene plays a morin khuur, a Mongolian string instrument, and joins Sindbad in singing. The finale reveals that the greatest treasure is friendship.

The indoor ride lasts about ten minutes and moves through calm water channels with no steep drops or fast turns. Children of any height can board, but should remain seated in the boat during the ride.
