Cenote Zacil Ha, Natural sinkhole in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Cenote Zacil Ha contains transparent water with a depth of three meters, surrounded by dense forest vegetation and limestone rock formations.
This natural pool formed thousands of years ago when limestone bedrock collapsed, creating an opening to the underground river system of Yucatan Peninsula.
Local residents frequently gather at this cenote during traditional celebrations, continuing practices that connect them to their Mayan ancestors.
The cenote operates daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering amenities including a restaurant, restrooms, life jacket rentals, and a parking area.
Two elevated platforms and an aquatic zipline allow visitors to enter the water from different heights while observing native bluebirds in surrounding trees.
