Yeosu Maritime Cable Car, Maritime cable car system in Yeosu, South Korea
The Yeosu Maritime Cable Car spans 1,500 meters across the sea, connecting Dolsan Island to the mainland through a modern transportation system.
Established in December 2014, this transportation infrastructure marked a milestone as South Korea's first cable car route constructed directly above ocean waters.
The cable car promotes local maritime tourism by offering visitors an elevated perspective of Yeosu's coastal environment and traditional fishing communities.
Operating from 9:00 to 21:30 on weekdays and until 22:30 on Saturdays, the cable car provides regular transport between Dolsan Park and Jasan Park.
Select cabins feature transparent floor panels, enabling passengers to observe the waters of the South Sea during their crossing between stations.
