Taman Satwa Cikembulan Kebun Binatang Cikembulan

Taman Satwa Cikembulan is a zoo in Garut set across green grounds with approximately 465 animals from 108 species, including rare Indonesian and exotic creatures. The facility provides enclosures for various animals from mammals to birds, each living in nature-like settings spread across the property.

The zoo was established in 1998 and opened to the public in 2009 after a preparation period. Since then it has grown into an important facility focused on animal care and protection programs.

The zoo is located about 16 kilometers from central Garut and is accessible daily. Visitors should prepare for warm, humid weather and wear comfortable shoes to walk between the different animal areas.

The zoo runs successful breeding programs for several endangered species, making it an active center for wildlife protection. These programs help endangered populations grow and survive for the long term.
