Cemitério Dos Navios, Maritime graveyard in São Tiago Beach, Luanda, Angola.

Over fifty abandoned vessels, including tankers and cargo ships, stand along two kilometers of coastline, creating a scattered collection of maritime remains.

The ships were deliberately placed on this beach during the Angolan Civil War between 1975 and 2002 to facilitate weapons transportation.

Local children frequently explore these maritime artifacts, establishing a connection between generations and the nautical heritage of their region.

Visitors require a local guide and transportation to reach the site, located thirty minutes north of Luanda, with no available facilities.

The Karl Marx oil tanker and Joaquim Kapango rank among the largest vessels in this collection, accessible during low tide periods.
