Payangan Beach

Payangan Beach is a black sand beach along the eastern coast of Java with natural rock formations scattered throughout. Multiple elevated viewpoints allow visitors to observe the coastline and take in the seascape from different angles.

Fishing communities have maintained their traditional practices at this location since the early periods of coastal settlement. Over time, the area became woven into the daily rhythm of life for people living along the coast.
