Pentominium, Residential skyscraper in Dubai Marina, United Arab Emirates
Pentominium is a residential skyscraper in Dubai Marina featuring 120 floors and a distinctive glass and steel facade designed in high-tech and postmodern architectural styles. The tower stands prominently along the marina waterfront as part of the district's collection of tall residential structures.
Construction began in 2008 and reached 22 floors by 2011 when work paused due to financial difficulties during the global economic crisis. The Select Group acquired the project in 2023 and renamed it Six Senses Residences, with building resuming in 2024.
The structure represents Dubai's transformation into a center of architectural innovation through vertical residential developments in the United Arab Emirates.
The building includes 23 elevators to move residents and visitors through its floors, with separate service elevators dedicated to maintenance operations. This elevator system allows efficient transportation throughout the tower.
The project was acquired by Select Group in 2023 and renamed Six Senses Residences, signaling a shift toward luxury residential development. This rebrand represents a fresh direction for what was once a stalled construction site.
