1 Park Avenue, Proposed skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
1 Park Avenue is a proposed skyscraper in Dubai's central business area designed to reach approximately 595 meters (1,952 feet) across 116 floors. The building combines residential units, office spaces, and retail areas within a single mixed-use structure.
The project results from a collaboration between the architectural firms Skidmore Owings Merrill and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, both specialists in designing tall structures. This partnership brings together decades of experience in creating large-scale urban developments.
The project reflects how Dubai develops vertically to create more usable urban space. The mixed-use design shows the city's approach to combining residential, office, and retail functions in one building.
The site is located within Dubai's central business district with direct access to the city's transportation network. Since this is an active construction project, viewing is limited to the exterior of the site during development phases.
The design incorporates advanced engineering methods with consideration for energy efficiency and resource conservation. This approach sets new benchmarks for how sustainable building practices can be applied to large towers in the region.
