Forward Operating Base Arian

Forward Operating Base Arian was a military installation in Ghazni Province that functioned as an operational center for international and Afghan forces. The facility featured two asphalt helipads used regularly for troop movements and supply missions throughout the region.

The base was established in 2011 after expanding from a previous combat post and operated under international command during its active years. Operations concluded in 2013 as the international military presence in the region decreased.

The facility served as a point of cooperation between United States Armed Forces and Afghan National Army personnel throughout its operational period.

The 6th Kandak of the Afghan National Army's 3rd Brigade, 203rd Corps maintained a permanent presence at the base during 2012.
