Laredo District

Laredo District is an administrative division in Trujillo province within the La Libertad region of northwestern Peru, covering flat to gently rolling terrain. The district was officially established on December 28, 1961, as one of eleven administrative divisions created within Trujillo province. Its formation was part of regional administrative reorganization that structured the province into separate jurisdictions.
