Jardín botánico de Tingo María

The Botanical Garden of Tingo María is a nature preserve holding a large collection of tropical plant species from the Amazonian rainforest. The grounds spread across several hectares and display different forest formations with cedar trees, cinchona species, and palms in a natural setting.

The garden was founded in 1978 and is affiliated with a university dedicated to researching Amazonian flora. Since its establishment, it has grown into an important site for botanical studies and the preservation of local plant species.
