Edificio Mario Mercado

Edificio Mario Mercado is a modern high-rise with 27 floors in the Obrajes district that ranks among Bolivia's tallest structures at approximately 107 meters. The complex combines 144 residences, office spaces, retail zones, a supermarket, and parking across multiple levels.

Construction of this major high-rise project started in 2011 and finished in 2015, with an investment of over 12 million dollars. The building marks an important moment in La Paz's modern urban expansion and contributed to the vertical growth of the Obrajes district.

The building serves as the home of Club Bolivar soccer team and functions as a gathering point for locals who use its sports facilities and shared spaces. The club's presence shapes daily life in the neighborhood and draws people together around their passion for the sport.
