Torres del Poeta

Torres del Poeta is a modern high-rise complex in La Paz comprising four towers, with two designed for office use and two for residential purposes. The structures reach between 34 and 36 floors, creating a distinctive shape in the city skyline.

Construction of the complex started in 2012 and it became Bolivia's tallest building, holding this title until 2022 when another tower surpassed it. This period marked an important moment in the country's modern building history.

Several community organizations shape how this place operates and connects to local life in the city. The presence of these groups makes the space feel rooted in the neighborhood's values and concerns.

The complex houses a large shopping mall operating since 2018 that offers retail spaces and parking for both residents and visitors. The layout makes it easy to move between the towers and retail areas.

At the entrance to the complex stands Casa Goitia, a historic house from an earlier era that forms part of a larger heritage complex. This older building beside the modern towers shows how different periods of urban development overlap at this location.
