Torres del Poeta, High-rise complex in La Paz, Bolivia

Torres del Poeta is a condominium complex in the Sopocachi district of La Paz, Bolivia, with four towers: two for offices and two for apartments. One apartment tower has 36 floors and reaches 178 metres, making it Bolivia's tallest building until 2022. The complex also holds the Las Torres Mall shopping centre and more than 700 parking spaces.

Torres del Poeta was built by a partnership of private investors, and its tallest apartment tower reaches 36 floors and 178 metres. It held the title of Bolivia's tallest building until 2022, when Green Tower, at 180.4 metres, surpassed it. The complex opened with 204 apartments, 74 offices and 74 commercial units.

The name honours Bolivian poets, because the surrounding streets carry the names of national writers. Inside the complex, Las Torres Mall opened on 24 May 2018 with shops, restaurants and cinemas, and the Goitia house at the entrance belongs to the Plaza Isabel La Católica heritage ensemble.

The complex contains a shopping mall that has been open since 2018, offering retail shops and parking for visitors. It is easy to move on foot between the towers and the shopping area.

At the entrance to the complex stands Casa Goitia, a historic house from an earlier period that forms part of a heritage ensemble. This older building next to the towers shows how different eras of urban development can meet at the same spot.
