Prabu Siliwangi Museum, Historical museum in Sukabumi, Indonesia.

The Prabu Siliwangi Museum is a history museum in Sukabumi, West Java, offering three exhibition halls with a broad collection from the region. The spaces display objects from different periods and cultures, including stonework, weapons, manuscripts, and ceramics from China.

Muhammad Fajar Laksana founded the museum, and West Java governor Ahmad Heryawan inaugurated it on 4 May 2011, together with the Qoryah Thoyyibah Mubarokah Islamic education zone of the Dzikir Al-Fath pesantren in Sukabumi. About 70% of the objects come from the family of Rd. Sumawinata, the founder's grandfather and a 15th-generation descendant of Prabu Siliwangi. It became Indonesia's 175th museum member on 20 January 2015, and its foundation was inaugurated by governor Ridwan Kamil on 5 February 2019.

The museum takes its name from the Kitab Suwasit, a bamboo-bark manuscript that recounts the history of Prabu Siliwangi. Among the exhibits are 23 sheets of this text and 205 sheets of a Sundanese-script translation made by Raden Soemawinata, which visitors can see alongside the Qur'ans attributed to the era of Sunan Gunung Djati.

The museum is located within an Islamic school complex in Sukabumi's Karangtengah area and is easy to find once you know the location. Access is available during regular opening hours, so visitors should check the specific times before planning their visit.

Most of the artifacts in the museum come from a single family collection carefully preserved over 15 generations. This direct descent from the legendary Prabu Siliwangi makes the collection something special, linking one family's story to the history of an entire region.
