Air Terjun Kabut Pelangi

Air Terjun Kabut Pelangi is a waterfall in Lumajang Regency, East Java, with multiple cascading tiers where water flows through thick vegetation and forms white streams across rock formations. The water collects in a natural pool at the base while the constant moisture nourishes the surrounding plant life.

The waterfall served as an important gathering place for local communities in East Java for generations, used to mark territorial boundaries between different groups. This function shows how natural landmarks shaped the social organization and movement patterns across the region.

Reaching this waterfall requires a walk of about 45 minutes through forest trails and crossing several small streams. Basic facilities are available at the entrance, though visitors should bring water and wear suitable footwear for the muddy and uneven paths.
