Tual

Tual is a city in Maluku Province in eastern Indonesia, spread across multiple small islands and surrounded by sea. The settlement consists of interconnected island zones and coastal areas that form the urban center.

The city was established in 1931 as a Dutch administrative region and served as a control center for the eastern islands. It became an independent city in 2007, separating from its larger administrative region.
