Estadio Mario Camposeco

Estadio Mario Camposeco is a football stadium in Quetzaltenango with seating for about 11,000 spectators and a natural grass pitch. Located at the intersection of 14th Avenue and First Street in Zone 3, the facility features an electronic scoreboard and good sightlines throughout.

The stadium originally opened as Estadio Escolar in September 1950 and was renamed in 1951 to honor footballer Mario Camposeco after his death. Major renovations in 1999 and 2005 upgraded the infrastructure to meet international football standards.

The stadium is the home of Xelajú MC, one of the region's most popular clubs, and fans create an energetic environment on match days that reflects the local passion for football.
