Cayambe Coca National Park, National park in northeastern Ecuador

The park extends across 403,103 hectares through four provinces, ranging from 600 to 5,790 meters above sea level with varied ecosystems and temperatures.

The Ecuadorian government established the area as an ecological reserve in November 1970 and later converted it to national park status in 2010.

The park contains traditional thermal springs in Oyacachi, where indigenous communities maintain their ancestral practices near the Reventador volcano waters.

Visitors can enter through two main routes: the Quito-Papallacta-Baeza road spanning 214 kilometers or the Sangolqui-Cayambe access road.

The reserve protects essential water sources feeding both the Atlantic Ocean through the Napo-Marañon-Amazon system and the Pacific Ocean through the Mira rivers.
