El Santo Museum, Wrestling museum in Tulancingo, Mexico
The El Santo Museum contains over 200 artifacts including photographs, posters, newspaper clippings, and personal belongings of the famous Mexican wrestler.
The museum opened on September 23, 2009, with Jorge Cesáreo Márquez Alvarado and El Hijo del Santo leading the inauguration ceremony.
This museum presents the legacy of Rodolfo Guzmán Huerta, who performed as El Santo from 1942 to 1982 and appeared in 52 films.
Located next to the former railway station, the museum welcomes visitors Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 16:00.
A silver statue greets visitors at the entrance, depicting El Santo performing his signature horse-riding wrestling move.
