Tuzoofari

Tuzoofari is a safari zoo in Hidalgo with natural habitats for more than 1000 animals from around 200 different species. The facility spans a large area and features both open driving routes and specialized zones representing different ecosystems.

The park was founded as a pioneering project to introduce a new way of observing wildlife in the Hidalgo region. This drive-through zoo concept was innovative for Mexico and attracted fresh interest in animal experiences.

Visitors can drive their own vehicles through the park or rent panoramic transport trucks to explore animal areas. It is helpful to arrive in the morning when most animals are most active.

The park features an interactive petting area and a reptile house where visitors can encounter different animals up close. Many guests overlook that they can hand-feed animals directly from their vehicles, creating a memorable interaction.
