The Sanger-Harris Building is a multi-story structure opened in 1965 in downtown Dallas, designed with white columns and a mosaic. The white columns remain part of its architecture, while the mosaic is no longer visible. The Sanger Harris name is engraved at various entrances, and many Sanger Harris branch stores around DFW copied the same design.

The building opened in 1965 as the flagship of Sanger-Harris, a chain formed in 1961 by merging Sanger Brothers and A. Harris & Co. In January 1987 the Dallas stores took the Foley's name after Federated combined the chains, and the following year the chain was sold to The May Department Stores Company. Foley's closed this downtown store in 1990 while opening newer area locations.

The Sanger Harris name remains engraved at several entrances, a detail visitors can still read on the facade. The store's identity came from the 1961 merger of Sanger Brothers and A. Harris & Co., two Dallas retailers. Branch stores across DFW copied the same design, so the flagship's look was repeated regionally.

The building is easily accessible from street level and its structural features make it straightforward to walk around and observe. Visitors should plan to spend time examining the facade and marble details from the surrounding streets.
