Dallas Museum of Art, Art museum in Arts District, Dallas, United States.
The Dallas Museum of Art contains over 24,000 works spanning five millennia across multiple floors, with collections from American, European, African, and Asian origins.
The museum began its journey in 1903 and relocated to its current Edward Larrabee Barnes-designed building in 1984, marking the start of the Dallas Arts District.
The permanent collection includes works by Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O'Keeffe, Edward Hopper, and Vincent Van Gogh across various artistic movements.
General admission remains free since 2013, with the museum offering extensive educational programs, workshops, and special exhibitions throughout the year.
Four parallel water walls divide the sculpture garden into smaller spaces, creating distinct exhibition areas enhanced by modern sculptures and strategic landscaping.
