Kitsap Memorial State Park

Kitsap Memorial State Park is a waterfront property stretching along Hood Canal in Kitsap County with views across the water toward mountain ridges. The grounds feature campgrounds, cabins, playgrounds, and picnic areas positioned along the shore.

The land was donated in 1949 by Kitsap County to establish a public recreation space honoring regional heritage. This gift from the community created a lasting place for outdoor activities and local memory.
