The Crystals, Luxury shopping center in Las Vegas Strip, US.
The Crystals is a shopping center on the Las Vegas Strip featuring glass exteriors, sharp geometric angles, and nineteen overlapping roofs designed by architect Daniel Libeskind. The entire complex spans roughly 500,000 square feet of retail space with a modern architectural footprint.
The center opened in December 2009 as part of the CityCenter development but faced early challenges during the Great Recession. Ownership shifted to Invesco and Simon Property Group in 2016.
The space displays seasonal flower arrangements drawing from Brussels customs, along with permanent installations by Dale Chihuly and Richard MacDonald scattered throughout. Visitors often pause to appreciate these artworks while moving between shops.
The center sits on Las Vegas Boulevard with daily shopping hours and valet parking services near major hotels nearby. Visiting in mid-morning or early afternoon tends to be less crowded than evenings or weekends.
The center houses North America's largest Louis Vuitton store spanning approximately 14,000 square feet across three levels. It also features an immersive light installation called Akhob by James Turrell that many visitors pass by without noticing.
