Las Vegas Festival Grounds, Entertainment venue in Winchester, United States
Las Vegas Festival Grounds is an entertainment venue along Las Vegas Boulevard featuring multiple stages and outdoor pavilions for hosting large-scale events. The site spans a substantial area and accommodates festivals, concerts, and other major gatherings throughout the year.
The land previously hosted El Rancho Vegas, a hotel that operated from 1941 until the 1970s. MGM Mirage purchased the property in 2007 and subsequently developed it into the event grounds we see today.
The site hosted the inaugural Rock in Rio USA festival in 2015, drawing musicians from multiple genres and audiences from across the region. This event helped establish the grounds as a major cultural venue in Las Vegas.
The grounds include permanent restroom facilities distributed throughout the site and a dedicated transportation and parking area. Visitors should allow extra time for getting around and expect longer walking distances between different zones.
The venue demonstrated its adaptability by hosting a heavy equipment exhibition during the Las Vegas Convention Center expansion in 2020. This flexibility shows how the grounds can shift between different types of large-scale gatherings.
