Lover's Leap

The 500-foot vertical granite formation contains more than 150 established climbing routes, ranging from beginner to advanced difficulty levels.

Since the 1950s, this climbing destination has attracted mountaineers, with guide M. Pietrolungo establishing numerous first ascents during the 1990s.

Local narratives speak of Native American couples who chose death together at this location rather than face separation by rival tribes.

The climbing area requires proper equipment, including ropes and anchors, while guided services are available through certified local instructors.

The Corrugation Corner route extends across three pitches, incorporating multiple climbing techniques along its natural granite formations.
