Pyramid Peak

Pyramid Peak is a mountain summit in the Sierra Nevada rising to about 14,000 feet and featuring steep rocky slopes and exposed ridges. The surrounding terrain consists of bare rock and demanding ground that challenges climbers on various routes.

The first documented ascent occurred in 1932 through an expedition team under experienced leadership. Since then, it has become a recognized destination for technical mountaineers in the region.

The peak draws experienced climbers seeking technical routes and raw high mountain terrain in the Sierra Nevada. For the local mountaineering community, it serves as an important training ground to develop advanced climbing skills.
