The Dongyue Temple extends across 4.7 hectares of land, containing 376 rooms organized into three main courtyards with traditional architectural elements.

Founded in 1319 by Zhang Liusun during the Yuan Dynasty, the temple received its current name in 1447 and underwent major expansions in the Ming period.

The temple houses an extensive collection of stone tablets from Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, including inscriptions by notable calligrapher Zhao Mengfu.

The temple complex maintains regular religious activities while welcoming visitors interested in exploring Chinese architectural heritage and Taoist traditions.

Feiyun Tower stands 23.19 meters tall with a pure wooden structure utilizing tenon riveting techniques without iron nails in its construction.
