Tomb of Bai Juyi, Tang dynasty poet cemetery in Longmen, China
The tomb stands on Pipa Peak of Longmen East Mountain, featuring a circular earthen mound measuring 4 meters high and 52 meters in circumference.
The final resting place of Bai Juyi, who served as Governor of Hangzhou and wrote over 2,800 poems during the Tang Dynasty from 772 to 846.
International monuments from Japan, South Korea, and Singapore surround the burial site, demonstrating the widespread influence of Bai Juyi's literary works.
The cemetery grounds span 44 acres within the Longmen region, offering visitors access to both the tomb and surrounding natural mountain landscapes.
Japanese donors planted cherry trees near the tomb in 1995, adding seasonal elements to this memorial site of the Chinese poet.
