Mount Miaofeng

Mount Miaofeng rises 1,330 meters above sea level, forming part of the Taihang Mountains range in northwestern Beijing, covering 2,000 hectares of natural terrain.

The mountain's Goddess Temple, established during the Liao Dynasty between 916 and 1125, received three commemorative tablets from Empress Dowager Cixi in the 19th century.

The traditional temple fair, dating back to the Ming Dynasty, draws hundreds of thousands of pilgrims during the fourth month of the lunar calendar.

Visitors can reach Mount Miaofeng by taking subway line 1 to Pingguoyuan Station, then bus M05 to Jiangou Village, with an entrance fee of 40 CNY.

Five ancient pilgrim routes converge at Jiangou Village, marked by tea shed remains, stone structures, and cliff inscriptions along the paths.
