Una-Sana Canton is an administrative region in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, located between the Una and Sana river valleys. The territory features forests, hills, and river landscapes that shape its natural character.
The region was established in 1996 following the Dayton Agreement as a new administrative unit. This division restructured the political organization of the federation after the conflict ended.

The region connects to other parts of the country and the Adriatic coast through the Novi Grad-Bihać-Knin railway line and Željava airport. These transport links make it possible for visitors to reach and travel through the area.
The canton experiences substantial emigration rates, with 15,900 work certificates issued abroad in 2021, marking it as the leading emigration area in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
