Tsuen Wan District

Tsuen Wan District spans 60.7 square kilometers along the western coast, containing urban developments, shopping centers, and sections of northeastern Lantau Island.

The district transformed from a collection of fishing villages into an industrial center when Shanghai textile manufacturers established factories there in the 1940s.

The Sam Tung Uk Museum maintains a restored Hakka walled village from the 19th century, displaying traditional agricultural tools and household items.

The MTR Tsuen Wan line connects the district to central Hong Kong, while numerous bus routes and ferry services provide additional transportation options.

Nina Tower, the sixth tallest structure in Hong Kong, stands among preserved factory buildings that tell the story of the district's textile manufacturing past.
