Dalian International Trade Center

The Dalian International Trade Center is a postmodern skyscraper featuring 78 above-ground floors and 7 subterranean levels in Liaoning Province. The structure combines steel and glass elements in a mixed-use complex designed for commerce and business activities.

The project began in 2003 with an interruption, then resumed in 2012 and reached full completion in 2019. This timeline reflects the building's adaptation to changing market demands during its long development.

The tower shapes the skyline of this business district through its contemporary design and serves as a landmark for the city's commercial identity.

The building is best viewed from the surrounding business district where its full height is visible from multiple angles. Inside, various facilities occupy different sections, so checking signage or asking at entry points helps find your destination.

The structure incorporates specialized wind assessment systems developed by the China Academy of Building Research to maintain stability at extreme heights. These systems work continuously to monitor and regulate forces that affect the tower's movement throughout the year.
