Yuguang Street Church, Anglican church building in Dalian, China
The red brick church building features traditional Anglican architectural elements and stands as a prominent structure in downtown Dalian at Yuguang Street.
Constructed in 1928 through collaboration between the Church of England and Anglican-Episcopal Church of Japan, the building initially served English and Japanese congregations.
The church maintains regular services three times on Sundays and holds special performances with a 50-member chorus during Christmas celebrations.
Located at Number 2 Yuguang Street in Dalian City, the church conducts youth services on Friday evenings and baptisms before Christmas and Easter.
The cornerstone displays inscriptions in English and Japanese from its 1928 dedication by Francis Lushington Norris, Bishop in North China.
