Guangji Temple, Buddhist temple in Xicheng District, Beijing, China

The temple complex spans 23,330 square meters and contains four main halls, numerous smaller temples, and a decorative wall featuring 18 Buddhist figures.

The temple originated during the Jin dynasty of 1115-1234, with subsequent expansions during the Ming dynasty between 1368 and 1644.

The temple functions as the headquarters of the Buddhist Association of China and maintains a library with 100,000 volumes of scriptures in 20 languages.

The temple provides educational programs about Buddhist teachings and holds regular ceremonies where visitors can observe traditional religious practices.

Some of the temple's library collection includes rare Buddhist texts dating to the Song dynasty period of 960-1279.
