Wanshou Temple, Buddhist temple in Zizhuyuan Subdistrict, China

The temple complex spans over 31,800 square meters and incorporates multiple halls, including the Hall of Deva Kings and the Mahavira Hall for Buddhist worship.

Constructed in 1577 during the Ming Dynasty, Wanshou Temple served as a storage facility for Buddhist scriptures and later became a celebration venue for Ming and Qing imperial families.

The Beijing Art Museum within the temple houses 70,000 artifacts, including bronze items, jade pieces, porcelains, and traditional Chinese paintings from various dynasties.

The temple reopened in September 2022 after five years of restoration work and welcomes visitors at Number 121 Wanshousi Road in Beijing's Haidian District.

At the temple entrance, a decorative panel displays one hundred bats flying between sky and clouds, representing fortune for incoming visitors.
