Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, airport in Nanming District, People's Republic of China
Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport is a facility about 11 kilometers east of the city center with two main terminals: T1 handles international flights and T2 manages domestic flights. T1 has ten check-in counters and twelve gates, while T2 is larger with twenty-eight gates, twenty-two security channels, and four check-in areas with baggage carousels.
The airport was developed to establish Guiyang as an important regional hub and create connections to cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Guangzhou as well as international destinations such as Singapore, Seoul, and Bangkok. A new terminal T3 is currently under construction and expected to open soon to increase capacity for growing travel demands.
Arrive two to three hours before domestic flights or about three and a half hours before international flights, as check-in counters close before departure and boarding gates shut about twenty minutes before flights leave. Self-service check-in machines are available in both terminals, particularly on the second floor of T1 and at gates in T2, making it easier to handle check-in quickly.
An underground high-speed train station is located near the airport, making it easy to reach other parts of Guizhou and nearby cities. This feature connects the airport seamlessly to the rail network and makes it a central transportation hub for the region.
