The park spans 102 hectares, featuring a 15.8-hectare lake, walking paths, and dense forests that cover 96 percent of the total area.
Established in January 1996, the park includes a cemetery commemorating soldiers who fought during the Liberation of Hainan Island from Japanese forces.
A mountain ridge in the park received its name from a tale about a supernatural bull that appeared during droughts to summon rain.
The grounds remain accessible to visitors daily from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM, with numerous entry points near public transportation stations.
The park contains a 7-hectare zoo, a pigeon aviary, and a butterfly garden situated at the highest elevation of the mountain ridge.
