TVB City, Television station complex in Tseung Kwan O New Town, Hong Kong.
TVB City spans 110,000 square meters and contains 22 production studios, workshops, a newsroom, two outdoor shooting sites, and a satellite antenna farm.
The construction of TVB City started on March 8, 2000, and the facility opened on October 12, 2003, with Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa attending the ceremony.
Studio 1 within TVB City ranks among the largest commercial television broadcasting facilities in Asia, supporting continuous production of shows and dramas.
The facility operates 24 hours daily with a dedicated basement for news operations and maintains high-definition broadcasting capabilities following its 2016 renovation.
The complex includes specialized outdoor sets that recreate traditional Chinese neighborhoods and early twentieth-century Hong Kong street scenes for television productions.
