Clear Water Bay Second Beach

Clear Water Bay Second Beach stretches along the eastern shore of the peninsula with fine sand and calm waters. Forested hills from the surrounding country park create a natural backdrop for swimmers and sunbathers.

The bay experienced three fatal shark incidents during the 1990s, leading to the installation of protective nets in swimming areas. These safety measures remain in place today to protect swimmers.

The beach serves as a gathering place where locals and visitors swim, spend time together, and enjoy the outdoors throughout the year. People come here not just for the water but to be part of the community rhythm of the area.

The beach has changing rooms, showers, toilets, and a refreshment stand available for visitors. Be prepared to descend approximately 100 steps from the entrance area to reach the sand.

A skatepark, horse riding stables, and hiking trails are located nearby, adding different recreational options to the area. This makes it possible to experience multiple activities in one visit without traveling far.
