The construction of the Yongchuan Sports Center, completed in 2007 at a cost of 139 million yuan, was executed by Chongqing Vister Construction Engineering Technology Company.
The stadium has hosted significant women's football events, including the Four Nations Tournament in 2011 and 2013 and the East Asian Championship in 2008.
The multi-purpose sports facility accommodates 25,000 spectators and features a swimming pool with 500 seats, making it suitable for various athletic competitions.
The stadium structure incorporates mild steel and color sheets with a truss frame, protected by anti-corrosion paint to withstand weather conditions.
