Scenic Hill, Mountain summit in Chek Lap Kok Island, Hong Kong
Scenic Hill rises 77 meters above sea level, featuring a Chinese pavilion at its peak and offering views of Hong Kong International Airport.
During the 1990s construction of Hong Kong International Airport, surrounding mountains were reduced while Scenic Hill remained as the highest elevation point.
The summit serves as a meeting point for aviation photographers who document aircraft movements while enjoying traditional Chinese architectural elements.
Visitors can reach the hiking trail entrance near Ngong Ping 360 Airport Island Angle Station, with a 30-45 minute climb to the summit.
The mountain contains the Scenic Hill Tunnel system beneath its surface, connecting different sections of Chek Lap Kok Island through underground passages.
