Imperial City Wall Relics Park

The Imperial City Wall Relics Park extends 2.4 kilometers from East Changan Avenue to Pingan Avenue, featuring 40,000 square meters of lawn and 44,000 square meters of bushes.

Built in 2001, the park preserves sections of the original Ming Dynasty city wall that protected Beijing's Imperial City, displaying authentic wall foundations and architectural elements.

The park incorporates six sculptures and three embossments that represent daily life in ancient Beijing, along with ten fold-springs integrated into the landscape design.

Located near Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, the park maintains regular visiting hours and provides direct access to public transportation through nearby subway stations.

Despite stretching over two kilometers in length, the park maintains a consistent width of only 29 meters, containing 78 different plant varieties throughout its narrow space.
