Jinma Bridge, Highway bridge in Sanshui District and Gaoyao District, Foshan and Zhaoqing, China

Jinma Bridge is a 1,912.6-metre expressway bridge over the Xi River between Sanshui District in Foshan and Jinli Town in Gaoyao District, Zhaoqing. Its 686-metre main section combines a cable-stayed span with two T-shaped rigid frames, carried by an H-shaped pylon 132.35 metres tall. The deck is 28.6 metres wide and holds six lanes.

Tendering for the bridge began in 1994, when Zhaoqing Yuezhao Highway Co. commissioned Guangdong Humen Technical Consulting to run China's first nationwide open tender using a design-plus-construction consortium; 19 design institutes submitted proposals. The winning team, Dalian University of Technology's civil design institute with Chongqing Bridge Engineering, started work in May 1995. The main span was closed on 25 February 1999 and the bridge opened to traffic on 31 August 2002, costing 189 million yuan against a planned 320 million.

The name Jinma combines the first characters of Jinli, the town on the Gaoyao bank, and the historic name of the Sanshui side, so the bridge is named after the two places it links. Its 132.35 m H-shaped pylons rise above the Xijiang shipping channel.

Jinma Bridge is a six-lane expressway bridge on the G80 Guangzhou-Kunming Expressway, crossing the Xijiang between Sanshui and Gaoyao; it is not a pedestrian or cycling route. The main span is 686 m, with a 132.35 m H-shaped pylon. The bridge opened to traffic on 31 August 2002, and in June 2024 the new Jinma Bridge entered main construction.

The main span is a 2×283-metre hybrid: a 2×223-metre cable-stayed girder rigidly joined to a T-shaped rigid frame on each side, a system chosen to cut the number of deep-water piers and ease flood discharge and navigation. The H-shaped towers rise 132.35 metres, 103.5 metres above the deck.
