Christian Shenzhen Church is a modern place of worship in Futian District with architecture that references Noah's Ark. The building combines international ecclesiastical design traditions with local architectural features and accommodates hundreds of worshippers.

Christianity reached the Shenzhen area in 1846 through the Basel Mission and Rhenish Missionary Society, which established 27 churches, mainly in Bao'an. The congregation's original church was founded in Luohu District in 1898 by the Rhenish Missionary Society and rebuilt in 1949 on Heping Road. Activities halted during the Cultural Revolution and resumed on 27 May 1984. In 1998 the city allocated about 4,400 m² at Meilin Huaguo Hill; the cornerstone was laid on 3 July 1999, the structure topped out in August 2000, and the church opened on 9 December 2001, costing 30 million yuan, over ninety percent donated by local believers.

The congregation gathers regularly for worship and fellowship, making this place a meeting point for the growing Protestant community in the city. You can sense an active faith community engaged in spiritual life and mutual support.
