Shenzhen Concert Hall, Concert hall in Futian District, China
The Symphony Hall spans 45 meters in width and 60 meters in length, featuring a vineyard configuration with 1,576 seats arranged in canyon terraces.
Japanese architect Arata Isozaki designed this cultural center, which opened in 2007 as part of a larger complex including a public library.
The Symphony Hall contains the sole pipe organ in Shenzhen and presents free concerts every Sunday afternoon through the Beautiful Sunday Concert program.
The venue includes a Theater Studio with adjustable capacity between 400 and 580 seats, along with rehearsal rooms and recording facilities.
Polycarbonate ensemble reflector panels suspend 14 meters above the stage to enhance the natural acoustics throughout the performance space.
