Schwandorf, Administrative district in Upper Palatinate, Germany
The Landkreis Schwandorf extends across 1,467 square kilometers of eastern Bavaria, encompassing 33 municipalities between the Naab and Regen rivers.
The district formed in 1972 through the consolidation of four previous districts: Burglengenfeld, Oberviechtach, Nabburg, and Neunburg vorm Wald.
Each municipality within the district maintains its distinct traditions, with local markets and celebrations taking place throughout the 33 communities.
