Summit of Vallon des Étages

The Vallon des Étages peak reaches an elevation of 3,564 meters within the Écrins National Park, displaying distinct geological formations of the French Alps.

The mountain received its first recorded ascent on June 27, 1878, when F. Perrin and André Salvador de Quatrefages reached the summit with local guides.
