Mullaghcleevaun, Mountain peak in County Wicklow, Ireland.
Mullaghcleevaun rises to 849 meters, making it the second-highest summit in the Wicklow Mountains range after Lugnaquilla, featuring extensive granite formations.
The mountain received its name from a cradle-like depression near its summit, as documented by geographer Patrick Weston Joyce in his studies of Irish toponymy.
The mountain holds the fifteenth position among Ireland's highest peaks according to the Arderin scale, attracting numerous hiking enthusiasts throughout the year.
The standard southern route to reach the summit starts at a small parking area near Carraigshouk, following an 8.5-kilometer trail that requires 3 to 4 hours.
Cleevaun Lough, situated below the summit at 686 meters, stands as the highest natural lake in County Wicklow.
